Today you donned your cap and gown

Stood tall, with dignity and grace

A time of respect and celebration

Pride filling your eyes and face

And we smiled and shared in your happiness

Cheering you with all of our hearts

Knowing that this accomplishment is

Recognition that will set your life apart

An ending that will bring new beginnings

New opportunities you've rightly earned

Through years of effort and sacrifice

Knowledge you've studied and learned

So today you became a graduate
