I hate time-out...I HATE TIME-OUT

That's why I kick and scream and shout!

I don't like it on the stairs, in my room or on a stool

I hate to follow all these rules, Rules, RULES!

I know it would be better

If I would just comply

But I don't wanna...I don't wanna

And that's the reason WHY!

So don't think that I'm cute...

NEVER take my picture

Don't try to reason with me...

'Cause your logic I can't figure

Just leave me for a minute or two

'Til I've worn myself right out

Then I'll take a moment to learn

What this lesson was about...

And slowly I'll do better

At least I'll really try...

'Cause rules I've found are easier

Than time-out and That's WHY!
