It takes a bunch of effort
Buttons, a carrot and snow (Or list other items that you used for your snowman)
A scarf and wooden twigs for arms
To make a snowman grow
It takes a lot of rolling
Frosted arms and frozen hands
'Til the snowballs become big enough
To make the snowman stand

A Few Ideas For Using This Poem:
1. Make the snowman the "star" of this scrapbook page by having the finished snowman be the largest picture on the page and pictures of your kids making the snowman as the supporting pictures on the page.
2. Take a close-up side view photo of the snowman and of your child/ children while decorating the snowman's face.
3. Take a picture of your child's bright pink and frozen hands when removed from their gloves after making the snowman.
4. Take pictures of your children rolling the snowballs across the lawn.
5. Take a picture of mom or dad if they are helping to stack the snowman.
6. Glue the actual buttons used on the snowman's face to the scrapbook page after the snowman has melted.
7. Take a "family photo" of your children lined up on either side of the snowman with the snowman in the middle.
8. Do "A Snowman Is Born" journal square on the page which documents how long it took to make the snowman, how tall the snowman was, how long the snowman lasted before he melted away, his eye color and any other fun "vital statistics" that would help enhance the memory of making the snowman for your children years from now.
